MLT 231 - Clinical Microbiology 5 Credit Hours Students will learn clinical microbiology techniques and procedures with identification and pathology of disease-causing organisms such as bacteria, fungus, viruses, and parasites. Microbiological procedures will be emphasized such as sterilization, collection and preparation of specimens, culturing methods, media preparation, identification of bacteria and other organisms using antibiotic and sensitivity testing.
