MLT 135 - Urinalysis and Body Fluids

2 Credit Hours

Students will learn an introduction to urinalysis and the study of body fluids. Students will learn components of physical, chemical, and microscopic analysis. Clinical conditions will be reviewed in correlation with urinalysis data and renal physiology. Studies will include pathology body fluids to include feces, semen, lab collection preparation, preservation, and analysis of body fluids.

Prerequisites: MLT 105, MLT 110, MLT 110L

Corequisites: MLT 135L
