RT 205 - Respiratory Professional Development

1 Credit Hours
Students will learn how to build impactful resumes, navigate the subtleties of job interviews, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare employment arena. This course will provide practical simulated interviews, and students will develop their own resume and cover letter as well as assemble a digital professional portfolio for after they graduate. Additionally, guest speakers from top healthcare organizations in the area will offer insider perspectives and insights for new respiratory therapy graduates. Upon completing the course, students will possess the essential tools, approaches, and self-assurance to successfully position themselves in the field of respiratory care.

Prerequisites: RT 107 , RT 107L , RT 108L , RT 109L , RT 202 , RT 202L  , RT 203S  

Corequisites: RT 204 , RT 206 , RT 207 , RT 208S
