RT 107L - Mechanical Ventilation Lab 1 Credit Hours This lab-based course offers a hands-on learning environment where students can deepen their understanding of mechanical ventilators and their roles in critical and intensive care settings. Students will gain practical skills in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting various modes of mechanical ventilation. Simulated clinical scenarios will be employed to explore the ethical dimensions and interdisciplinary aspects of managing patients on various types of mechanical ventilators. The aim of this course is to equip students with the technical prowess and ethical grounding necessary to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients, preparing them for the complex challenges they will face in their professional careers.
Prerequisites: RT 103 , RT 104 , RT 104L , RT 105 , RT 105L
