RT 200 - Cardiopulmonary Physiology

3 Credit Hours
This course encompasses detailed examinations of the heart, lungs, and interconnected vascular and bronchial systems. Focus will be placed on mechanisms driving ventilation, gas exchange, perfusion, and regulatory pathways, ensuring effective hemodynamic and respiratory functions. Highlighting both the fundamental and intricate facets of cardiopulmonary function from neonates to adulthood, this foundational course is essential for proficiency in respiratory therapeutic applications.

Prerequisites: CHEM 106 , CHEM 106L , MATH 103  or MATH 114 , HC 118 , HC 118L , ENGL 101 , PSYC 101 , * CPR
