NURS 260S - RN Role II/Clinical Course content builds upon the information and skills developed in NURS 200 and provides an opportunity for skill refinement and increased self-confidence in the role of Associate Degree Nurse through working with a preceptor. The student applies the nursing process in a realistic work setting. Concepts of accountability and professionalism are integrated from prior learning. Additionally, the student will integrate knowledge and skills necessary for caring for groups of clients, nursing team management, interdisciplinary collaboration, delegation, supervising and teaching nursing personnel.
Prerequisites: All previous NURS coursework, plus permission of Program Director.
