NURS 210 - Nursing Across the Lifespan I 6 credit hours This course concentrates on health and illness of individuals and families across the lifespan. Critical thinking through the use of the nursing process and standards of care are used to guide the student. Concepts of health promotion and nutrition are integrated into specific subject areas. Subject areas include individuals with mental health needs, oxygenation needs, fluid and electrolyte balance, and the childbearing and child rearing family. There is a clinical component to this course. Prerequisites: NURS 200 .
