MECH 211 - Programmable Logic Controllers

This course provides the student with basic knowledge of programmable controllers and how they are utilized. This course will provide an understanding of the PLC’s role in modern day control systems. The course works with a variety of PLC’s, solid state sensors, various input/output modules, and different loads. Student-written ladder logic programs will be implemented into the control of the various applications. Prerequisites: ET 153, ET 154; Corequisites: MECH 211
