CIS 187 - Routers and WANs I

Gives students exposure to the installation and configuration of CISCO routers. Topics will include a light review of the OSI 7 layer model, basic bridge and switch operation, identifying different routing and routed protocols, router components, router initialization, updating the IOS, installing TFTP servers, and general router IOS command structure. Prerequisites: CIS 171 or CCNA1
