Upon completion of an Diploma in Medical Coding: Professional Services, a student will be able to:

 Science and Technology

• Interpret physician documentation and apply appropriate diagnoses and procedural codes.
• Analyze CMS Audit Tool to determine the appropriate Evaluation and Management code level of service. Utilize 3M Encoder to append appropriate modifiers and verify payable diagnoses.

Problem Solving/Critical Thinking

• Interpret all Coding concepts and research appropriately and accurately.
• Identify Coding issues and solve them.
• Maintain a balance between productivity and quality in their daily assignments.
