Paul has been teaching at Southeast Tech since 2004, and is currently working on his bachelor’s degree in Adult Education at Bellevue University.
Paul worked for Baete-Forseth as a service technician for several years before joining Johnstone Supply as a salesman and technical support specialist. He also stays active in the HVAC industry installing servicing and repairing heating and cooling equipment as a self-employed contractor.
Paul thinks watching students learn and grow is the best part of a job as an instructor. He has worked with students from 18 to 56 years of age and all backgrounds, and continues to learn each and every day from both the ever changing industry and the students themselves.
Paul’s interests and hobbies include spending time with family, friends and his dog at their family lake cabin, hunting and fishing and just enjoying life.

Jason has been an instructor at Southeast Tech since Fall of 2016. He has worked in the HVAC/R field since 2001 in various commercial and residential capacities, mostly as a field technician. Along with being an instructor at Southeast Tech, Jason still owns and operates his own Heating & Cooling business in Beresford, SD which he started in 2006.
Jason lives on an acreage near Beresford with his wife and two daughters. He is a baseball fanatic with a goal of seeing all MLB stadiums. He enjoys spending time with family, and has a real passion for the HVAC/R industry. Jason’s favorite part of the HVAC/R industry is that no two days are alike. Because things are always changing and advancing technicians have to keep challenging themselves to get better every day!
