BHT 260 - Case Management, Assessment, and Clinical Documentation

3 Credit Hours

This course provides information on the theory and practice of case management from an interprofessional perspective. Students will practice skills related to development of care plans, clinical documentation, record keeping, intake and assessment procedures, interviewing techniques, and identifying and making referrals. Students will gain perspective on the value of strength-based, patient-centered care while incorporating an interdisciplinary shared approach to decision-making.
