MECH 123 - Electronic Concepts II

3 Credit Hours

This course builds on previous coursework. Industrial control electronics and electrical systems will be the focus of study. Students will learn about control circuits and power circuits. We will study high power semiconductor circuits, relays for power interfacing as well as for control applications. This course includes lessons in DC power, AC power and 3 phase AC power. With a focus on diagnostics and troubleshooting as well as design considerations.
