VET 220 - Veterinary Nursing & Diseases II 3 Credit Hours This course will focus on emergency care, advanced nursing care, nutrition including therapeutic nutrition and dietary management of diseases for canine and feline patients. Neonatal care, client education and crisis intervention/grief management skills with clients will also be addressed. Students will have the opportunity to improve their restraint, venipuncture, intravenous catheter placement, emergency triage and fluid therapy skills.
Prerequisites: VET 122 , VET 200
