CV 125 - EKG Analysis & Interpretation I 2 Credit Hours This course is designed to teach principles of electrocardiograms including information necessary to interpret and understand normal and abnormal cardiac rhythm strips. The student will be introduced to the structural anatomy of the heart and cardiac conduction system, the basic principles of EKG interpretation, and the concepts essential in the recognition of cardiac arrhythmias on a rhythm strip will be emphasized. The student will become familiar with EKG, monitoring equipment through demonstration and skills performance during class.
