Early Childhood Specialist Program Mission Statement

The Early Childhood Specialist Program and coursework is designed to provide real life application and professional learning experiences to prepare students to be confident and competent early childhood professionals.  Our educational experiences give students the opportunity to develop hands-on, critical thinking, and personal skills required to care for young children and their families. Students will learn practices that foster collaboration, how to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum, and refine developmentally appropriate teaching skills in a nurturing environment.
