Upon completion of an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Construction Management, a student will be able to:
Technical Skills
- Use management skills to complete projects in a productive, efficient, and fiscal manner.
- Build residential, commercial and civil structures to specifications.
Problem Solving/Critical Thinking
- Evaluate various materials and methods of construction projects.
- Utilize various building codes to determine the best design when building and interpreting blue prints.
Professionalism
- Students will develop life long learning habits, and professional behaviors in all aspects of construction.
- Use industry safety standards while using tools and operating equipment, while ensuring a safe working environment.
Communication
- Plan and communicate tasks in a clear, concise, safe, and comprehensive manner.
- Apply various forms of communication effectively when interacting with different business lines.
