HIM 298 - Health Information Capstone and Experiential Learning

2 Credit Hours

This capstone course evaluates program-level mastery of health information competencies through a fully virtual, supervised experiential learning model. Students complete authentic project-based activities using EHR Go and other approved tools. All experiential learning (EL) activities are competency-based and supervised by a qualified HIM professional. Students complete a comprehensive capstone project, a mapped mastery portfolio, and supervised evaluations.

Prerequisites: HIM 101, HIM 251, HIM 255, Math Requirement, CSC 105
