Build leadership and management skills for HIM practice: teamwork and professional communication; organizational change; human resource basics (recruitment, selection, retention, training, productivity); policy and governance; privacy/security oversight; data-driven performance improvement; budget literacy and variance management; consumer engagement; cultural responsiveness; and ethical decision-making.

Prerequisites: HIM 101, HIM 251, HIM 255
