BHT 140 - Group Dynamics and Techniques 2 Credit Hours This course explores effective leadership, communication, and relationship-building techniques for group counseling. Students will be equipped with knowledge, skills, and competencies for entry level practice with individuals, families, and groups. Course content will examine the stages of group development, the role of the facilitator, and recognition of group dynamics and cohesion. Evidence-based theories and practice models will be explored.
Prerequisites: SSS 100 , PSYC 101 , ENGL 101 or CMST 101 or ENGL 100 , HC 117 , MATH 100 or MATH 101 or MATH 103 or MATH 114 , BHT 110
