DMS 102 - Abdominal Sonography 6 Credit Hours This course is the study of the anatomy, physiology, pathology and pathophysiology of the abdominal cavity to include the aorta and it’s major branches, IVC and its major tributaries, liver, biliary system, pancreas, urinary/renal system, adrenal glands, spleen, gastrointestinal organs, abdominal wall, and diaphragm as visualized by sonography, including the application of Doppler principles.
Prerequisites: DMS 100 , DMS 101 , DMS 101 L
Corequisites: DMS 102 L
