DMS 240 - Superficial & Pediatric Sonography 3 Credit Hours This course is the study of anatomy, physiology, pathology and pathophysiology of the abdominal cavity and superficial structures to include but not limited to: thyroid, parathyroid, breast, prostate, scrotum, penis, and musculoskeletal structures as visualized by sonography, including the application of Doppler principles. This course will also include the study of sonography applications in the infant and pediatric patient.
Prerequisites: DMS 200 , DMS 200 L
Corequisites: DMS 240 L
