CET 110 - Survey I-Fundamentals 4 Credit Hours Survey I is an introduction to the science of surveying, involving measurements and the computation of measurements. Angles, bearings, horizontal and vertical distances, traverse adjustments, area computations and error determinations will be measured and/or calculated. This course will focus the hands-on use of various fundamental surveying instruments (chains/tapes, levels, and total stations), their accuracy’s and minor adjustments. These fundamental skills and equipment along with contouring and basic topographic drafting techniques will be accessed through class assignments and field/lab exercises
