CAD 211 - Computer Assisted Design II 4 Credit Hours An emphasis on 3-D building and design software will be introduced on a residential scale. 3-D modeling using a software called Sketch-up along with a Building Information Modeling (BIM) utilizing a state-of the-art software called Revit (Revised Instantly). Both of these softwares will help the student design and produce the plans, elevations, sections and various details for residential buildings. Kitchen design, staircase layout, roof plans and presentation techniques will also be developed using the BIM system.
