Vascular Sonography Program Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Southeast Tech Vascular Sonography program to prepare competent entry-level Vascular Sonographers in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains.  

Graduates of the program will be expected to be successfully credentialed through the ARDMS and possess the ability to perform high quality diagnostic sonography examinations and procedures, understand the anatomy and pathophysiology related to structures examined, deliver appropriate patient care, exercise suitable ethical, moral, and legal judgment within the health care environment, and participate in quality assurance and continuing education.
