Cathy began teaching at Southeast Tech in August 1990. Before starting at Southeast Tech she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a Regional Hospital in Southwest Minnesota. She obtained experience in a variety of departments such as: Med-surg, Ob-Nursery, ICU/CCU and surgery. After that she worked at Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, South Dakota as a (RVT) Registered Vascular Technologist until she helped start the ultrasound program at Southeast Tech. Cathy is also a CPR instructor with the American Heart Association.
 
Education: BS, Bellevue University; LPN, Minnesota West-Worthington; Registered Vascular Technologist by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
