Curt Olson, BSEE, MSEd, Electronics Technology Instructor, has 20+ years of professional experience that includes technical sales, service, installation of electronic equipment. He has also worked with the research and design of electronic devices. During his industrial career, he was involved with project management of high profile installations such as United Nations, New York, NY and University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ. He holds a post-secondary credential from the South Dakota Board of Education.

 
As an educator, Curt has taught many electronics core courses such as DC/AC concepts, Digital Circuits and Analog Circuits. Advanced courses include LabVIEW® programming, PICBasic Pro® programming in Digital II. Curt has successfully completed post-secondary courses pertaining to Cisco® networking semesters 1-4.

Julie Sackett

Julie is the Electronics Lab Specialist for Southeast Tech. In 1993 Julie graduated from St. Paul Technical College with an Associate Degree for Licensed Practical Nursing. As an LPN she worked primarily with the elderly.

Julie graduated from Southeast Tech with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electronics Technology in 2000. She worked at Daktronics in the electronics field repairing circuits, revising procedures, working with schematics, training new employees and much more. In 2007 she accepted a position at Southeast Tech and teaches labs for first year students in the Electronics and Mechatronics programs.
