Pam has been teaching at Southeast Tech as the Cardiac Ultrasound program director since 2001. Pam began her medical career at McKennan Hospital’s school or Respiratory Therapy. After working in Respiratory Therapy for two years, she helped with the launch of the non-invasive vascular lab. She was fortunate to attend many seminars around the country to hone her skills as a vascular sonographer. Pam became a registered vascular technologist in 1986. Due to rapid growth in cardiac ultrasound services, she cross trained into cardiac ultrasound and became a registered diagnostic cardiac sonographer in 1992. Rapid growth in the cardiovascular services department created a need for additional management staff and Pam became manager in 1995.
Pam is fully committed to preparing her students for employment and successful completion of national board exams.
“Cardiac ultrasound is a challenging yet highly gratifying profession, I love to share my passion with my students.”
