Sports Turf Management, AAS


Upon completion of an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Sports Turf Management, a student will be able to:

Science & Technology
  • Utilize the proper procedures for setup and operation of various types of equipment.
  • Choose procedures, tools or equipment to complete work assignments.
  • Locate, understand, and interpret information found in plans, blueprints, manuals, graphs, and schedules.
  • Recognize, organize, and process symbols, pictures, and diagrams that are pertinent to this field.
Problem Solving/Critical Thinking
  • Identify or solve problems using various test equipment.
  • Recognize a problem and implement a response.
  • Evaluate a service situation and choose the best corrective measure.
  • Utilize time management skills to complete work as scheduled.
