Upon completion of a Certificate in Network Support, a student will be able to:

- Demonstrate troubleshooting skills and technical proficiency on various computer network operating systems, desktop operating systems, installed software, attached peripherals, and other computer networking equipment.
- Develop experience with network cabling.

- Demonstrate troubleshooting skills on various computer network operating systems and desktop operating systems.
- Demonstrate troubleshooting skills on various computers, peripherals, and computer networking equipment.
- Determine proper configurations compatibility for computer operating systems.
- Understand network troubleshooting using the OSI model.
- Ability to understand IP addressing and subnetting networks.
- Troubleshoot routing protocols such as RIP and OSPF.
- Navigate the Cisco IOS file system.
- Work with ACLs (Access Control Lists).
- Understand switching VLANs.
- Explore DHCP, NAT, and STP protocols.
- Deploy routing and switching devices using Cisco equipment.
- Deploy secure wireless networks using various manufacturers’ devices.
- Understand wireless topics such as frequencies, bandwidth, and throughput.
- Have the ability to perform wireless surveys.
