Early Childhood Specialist Program Mission Statement

The Early Childhood Specialist Program purses excellence. Our educational experiences give students the opportunity to develop hands-on, critical thinking, and personal skills required to care for young children and their families. Students will learn practices that foster collaboration, age appropriate curriculum and developmentally appropriate teaching skills in a nurturing environment. Our early childhood courses are designed to provide real life application and professional learning experiences to prepare students to be confident and competent early childhood professionals.
