Office Assistant (Online), Diploma

Office Assistants help keep a business running efficiently and professionally. Their job skills include providing excellent customer service, performing general record keeping, managing the office and mail operations, preparing professional documents or presentations, handling general computer operations, assisting others in the workplace and effectively communicating information to various parties.

Additional Information


Prior computer and keyboarding skills are also required of students entering the Office Assistant program in the spring semester.

Students wishing to receive an Office Assistant Diploma and Business Administration Degree may apply Office Assistant core courses as the technical electives for Business Administration. (BUS 105 , BUS 107  and CIS 125 )

Students must earn a “C” or better in BUS 105 , BUS 107 , CIS 105  and CIS 125  in order to graduate.

Students entering a program in any semester other than outlined may not graduate in the expected amount of time.
