The Java Programming Certificate would provide a pathway to individuals interested in starting in the Information Technology Industry or for those individuals needing to learn a new programming language. This certificate caters to high school students and existing programmers that need to learn about Java. Prior learning can be used for Intro to Programming if you are currently a programmer. This would allow existing undergraduate or dual-credit students with interest to explore a new field of study.

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS: This certificate is a Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL) program. You may purchase a laptop on your own or from the Southeast Tech IT Support Center.
