Accounting is the “language” of business. Whether accountants work for a large business or on personal accounts, they hold a strong appreciation for the intricacies of the business world. Accountants analyze and interpret financial information, prepare financial statements, design accounting systems, prepare special business and financial studies, prepare forecasts and budgets, and provide tax services.
Note: This degree is a Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL) program, meaning you can purchase a laptop on your own or from the Southeast Tech Support Center.

Additional Information
ACCT 210 & ACCT 211 are offered online during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Because these are prerequisites for other ACCT classes, if you do not begin in the Fall, you may have to attend an additional semester.
All courses with the prefix ACCT require “C” or better.
Students entering a program in any semester other than outlined may not graduate in the expected amount of time.
