PHRM 113 - Pharmacy Principles and Practices I 4 Credit Hours This course covers the use of computers in pharmacy and their practical applications. Students will be introduced to hospital and retail dispensing techniques as well as basic customer service. Introduces students to the organization and function of the hospital and retail pharmacy. Emphasis is placed upon the duties and responsibilities of the pharmacy technician, and the calculations required to accurately prepare patient medications for distribution.
