Upon completion of an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Diesel Technology, a student will be able to:

Technical Skills

• Explain how the different emission control devices function on diesel engines and equipment.
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical information databases.

Problem Solving/Critical Thinking

• Identify and diagnose electrical sensors and diagnostic codes.
• Install and operate subsystems.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.

• Operate shop tools in a safe manner.
