Upon completion of an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, a student will be able to:

Technical Skills

• Create an assembly drawing to ANSI Y 14.5 standards.
• Reverse Engineer parts and complex Assemblies.

Problem Solving/Critical Thinking

• Describe how the manufacturing process controls the quality of the finished product.
• Create a business proposal that demonstrates an understanding of operations management

Professionalism

• Demonstrate the ability to interpret and draw a functional part print.
• Function as a productive team member.

Communication

• The student will be able to explain how products are manufactured and what materials used to produce the product.
