Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Mission Statement

It is the goal of the Southeast Tech Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program to prepare competent entry-level general (Abdominal/OB/Gyn) sonographers in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains required to successfully obtain employment and complete the national registry examinations.
