Dana has 30+ years of professional experience that includes banking, mortgage, investments, accounting, and post-secondary education.

She has taught at the secondary and post-secondary level and holds a secondary credential as well as a post-secondary credential. As an educator, Dana has taught many financial services and business courses including: Accounting, Personal Finance, Principles of Investments, Bank Management, Fundamentals of Insurance, Internships, and Human Resource Management.

She continues her professional educational membership by serving as the Region 5 President for the American Technical Education Association and is an active member of the National Business Education Association.
Regarding her teaching philosophy, Dana believes that learning never ends and that it is a teacher’s role to facilitate the learning and success of their students. She personalizes education with real world experiences and projects.

Dana’s interest include reading, golfing, and spending time at the lake.

Dennis has been teaching at Southeast Tech since 1995. He holds a Life & Health Insurance license and maintains his professional skills by continuing part-time employment as an Indirect Senior Loan Officer at First Premier Bank.

He has accrued extensive banking industry and leadership experience, having:
• Over 25 years of banking experience that includes being a branch manager, indirect loan officer, personal banking officer, collection representative, and customer service representative
• Over 10 years as a financial services instructor
• Served over 23 years in Army National Guard, held positions of Battalion Operations Officer, Battery Commander, Executive Officer, and Fire Direction Officer
• Served the community by volunteering for the United Way, Adopt-A-Highway, Banquet, and other events

Through the military, he completed the Command & General Staff course, Field Artillery Officer Basic Course, and Officer Candidate School.

Dennis has been awarded outstanding service awards in the Army National Guard. Included in this involved a weapons conversation from the M109A1 Howitzer to the Multiple Launch Rocket System, a mobilization to support Operation Enduring Freedom, and multiple unit certifications, inspections, and other military requirements.

Dennis’s interests include jogging, bowling and spending time with his family.
