Nancy Gacke is an instructor in the Healthcare Office Specialist program. She has been an instructor at Southeast Tech for over 32 years teaching a variety of subject areas including health information, transcription, English, computers, student success and the electronic medical record. Previously, she was the Single Parent/Displaced Homemaker/Equity Advisor and taught Transcription at Southeast.
Nancy has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Sioux Falls in Elementary Education. She is also certified in Health Careers Postsecondary level from the State of South Dakota. She is also working on her Master’s degree in Curriculum Development from South Dakota State University. Nancy has served on numerous community organizations such as Wheels to Work, National Organization for Women, WIC (Woman’s, Infant and Children) and the Women’s Equity Program in SD.
Nancy is a grandmother of seven and mother of three. She has a lake cabin at Madison and loves to golf and dance.
