Construction Management Faculty

 

Kristen has been teaching at Southeast Tech since 2009, when the Construction Management Technology program emerged. She instructs all students in the engineering programs with an emphasis in math coursework.

She is a member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) and oversees the student chapter of AGC. Kristen believes staying in contact with the industry is vital, as they set the standard in preparing our students for the workforce. She is also a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and the South Dakota Engineering Society (SDES).

Prior to coming to Southeast Tech, Kristen spent eight years in engineering design and construction administration. She worked for HDR Engineering, a national consulting firm, where she performed design work on many local and state transportation projects in a variety of locations including South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Texas, Illinois and Arizona.
