Bobbie began teaching at Southeast Tech in 1996, teaching classes in marketing, business communications, public relations, business law and works with students to find marketing internships.
She has a graduate degree in educational administration with an emphasis in career and technical education from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota.

Bobbie has taught at the post-secondary level for approximately 21 years and holds a post-secondary credential from the South Dakota Board of Education. She is also a member of the SDSU honor society of Phi Kappa Phi.

She has also accrued extensive industry experience, having:  
• been employed as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Cedar Rapids, IA Chamber of Commerce
• been employed as the Marketing Director for Dakota Square in Minot, ND
• certified as a Lou Tice Management Trainer
• prepared students for business through Phi Beta Lambda as student advisor for Southeast Tech and served as the South Dakota State Advisor for PBL.

Bobbie’s professional mission statement is to educate students in all of her classes for employment opportunities and to develop classroom strategies that create and inspire an environment of lifelong learning.

Brian has taught for Southeast Tech since 2004 and primarily teaches Marketing courses. Brian has over 25 years of professional experience in private sector and public sector management and marketing.

Kim Weihe, MBA

Kim has over 20 years of professional experience that includes sales, marketing and management for both nonprofit and corporate post-secondary institutions. She has worked extensively with nontraditional students as the director of evening courses and also as the director of a degree completion program where she advised and supported students returning to college to complete their degree.

She has taught at the post-secondary level for approximately 15 years and holds a post-secondary credential from the South Dakota Board of Education. As an instructor, Kim teaches many marketing and business classes such as Social Media, Selling, InDesign, and Business Law in both traditional and online formats.

Karen Winter

Karen is the Lab Specialist for the Business and CIS APPS classes and also the Keyboarding Instructor. She assists the BUS & CIS full time and adjunct instructors, presenting as a substitute instructor when needed.

Karen works with students in lab classrooms, planning student events within the program, and organizing and managing the Southeast Tech Value Card.

She is an active volunteer in her home town in Iowa.
